Our records show that all the schools have migrated apart from the six schools that our project team are working closely with to migrate to their new email accounts.  The team are in close communication with these schools and will continue this until they are fully migrated.

Schools will be aware that the educ email accounts have been disabled for all the migrated schools, as the schools are now using their new email accounts that have been setup.  Please note no data is lost when the email accounts are disabled, it just prevents the user from continuing to use the old redundant educ email account.   The auto forwarding and Out of Office are still in place until the end of September 2022.

If the school realises that users are missing from the migration, the Project Team are happy to assist; please can we ask that the school log a call using AssystNet and selecting the Post SLP Migration queue – assystNET – Report an Issue or Fault post SLP Migration (somerset.gov.uk).  The SLP Project team will then deal with this enquiry.

For schools that have full support with the Schools & Traded Team your cover will continue and the engineers in the team with deal with your queries.

If your school is looking for Microsoft 365 / email support please look at the available packages that are offered on the SSE website – Schools ICT Service | Support Services for Education

The SLP System is now being wound down so that the project team can decommission the servers in October.  This will mean that all educ email accounts will cease to function after 30th September 2022.

The SLP Project Team would like to thank all the schools for their patience with the migrations and would like to wish them luck with their new email accounts.

Kind Regards

Schools & Traded Team
