SCC ICT wish all our schools a Merry Christmas and we look forward to schools continuing their cloud journey in 2023.

Now all schools in Somerset have moved from SLP to Microsoft 365 own tenants, it is time to look at the new tools and money saving options now available to you all.  If any schools would like further help and support or advise on Cloud working and how these new tools can be used to save money, please feel free to contact us at any time.

The SLP Project Team would like to advise that the Somerset Learning Platform (SLP) servers will be shut down at the end of this year on Friday 30th December 2022.

All schools that currently have their auto forwards and out of offices switched on from the old educ account will continue until this time.  After this date, all services that the SLP Servers provided will stop working.

All data held on the SLP servers will be deleted from this date; excluding the SIMS data as the team are working on a relocation solution for the SIMS Team.  If you have any queries regarding your data contact the Schools & Traded Team using the Assyst Self Service portal to register your concern – assystNET – Schools General Request (somerset.gov.uk).

All Assyst queues for the SLP are discontinued as the SLP Project Team are disbanded and working on other projects.

The SLP Project Team would like to thank all the schools and other SCC teams for their collaboration and patience.

Thank you for your assistance with the SLP Migration of old educ email accounts.
